I am a graduate from Florida International University with 13 years of teaching as a substitute teacher and paraprofessional from Miami-Dade County Public Schools. With experience in working with individuals with disabilities and/or disorders. I also had experience with working diverse population of students grades Pre-K to 12th in various areas, specifically in Home Economics, Life Skills Independent Living, Basic Economics and Life Readiness. I also taught Academic studies such as Cuban Studies, Theology, Computer Applications (Windows Word and PowerPoint), Reading Readiness, Basic Reading Components, and Basic Mathematics. I speak both English and Spanish, and believe in the importance of parental involve and team work with families to ensure the best outcome of their childs' academic and personal goals.
