I am a graduate of High Point University and Liberty University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Sports Management and Masters of Arts in Teaching in Special Education. Since graduation, I have taught for the past 13 years in a variety of grade levels. Mostly I have taught extensively in the secondary level from 6th through 12th grades. During my 13 years I have taught a broad range of subjects. I have taught Math from 6th grade through 11th grade including Algebra 1 and Algebra Functions and Data Analysis (AFDA). I have also taught Earth Science, Biology, Astronomy, Physical Science And Civics. During my time as a teacher, I have taught in person but also virtually as well. In my experience helping struggling students, I have also taken the philosophy of teamwork and making sure that we are a cohesive unit working together in order to achieve the common goal of success. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy sports (coaching, playing or watching), playing video games, watching tv and movies, and reading.
