I am a sophomore English & Philosophy double major at the University of South Carolina, and I love sharing my love for learning and understanding English literature and language. I am also a Spanish minor, and love being able to exercise my skills by helping others understand the basics of the language. I also enjoy tutoring US history and social studies. The subject I am most passionate about teaching, however, is English literature, as it is what interests me the most in my academic history. It's such a nuanced subject and I love helping others see it the way I do and getting to see their unique perspectives of the same text. It's important to me to make learning an enjoyable experience for my students, as I believe that a love for learning is what truly helps students excel, rather than simply rote memorization or definition of terms.
