I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Biology at Siena College, where I am also a participant in the Siena/Albany Medical College direct-admit program. My passion for education stems from a lifelong love of learning. I've always found joy in fully understanding difficult concepts and solving complex problems. I want my students to experience that same excitement and satisfaction from learning.

I began tutoring in high school, where I helped students with math. Watching their confidence grow and test scores improve as they began to understand and even enjoy the subject was incredibly fulfilling. That experience taught me that with patience and the right guidance, every student is capable of succeeding.

I specialize in tutoring all levels of math and particularly love working on topics that many students find intimidating. Math has a reputation for being impossible and painful, but I find it deeply satisfying. I believe that there is a joy in solving complex problems and understanding the connection between different areas of mathematics. My goal is to help students shift their mindset and realize that math can be both fun and empowering once they start to truly understand it. My teaching philosophy focuses on building a foundation of understanding rather than chasing the correct answer.

I focus on identifying and addressing the root of a student's misunderstanding, so they can approach future problems with confidence. Tutoring allows me to combine my love of learning with my desire to help others grow. I am excited to work with students at any level and am confident with the right support any student can feel more comfortable with math and maybe even start to enjoy it!
