I promise to provide you with the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities, needed to be successful not only in your future classes and academic career, but to be successful in any endeavor you pursue.

1. You are great! No matter what life throws at you and life has thrown everything but the kitchen sink at us.
2. You were here. Remember, there are many people who wish they could start and you are already here. Yes the path may seem daunting, but you got over the first hurdle just getting here
3. You are fearless! Do not downplay any setback and above all do not shut down because you encounter an obstacle. Assess the obstacle, how can you avoid or eradicate the obstacle and above, never discredit the obstacle, because it isn't learning opportunity.
