I recently graduated (December 2023) from Nicholls State University. I majored in history, and I am very passionate about my field and have been a dedicated history nerd since early childhood. I am also an author, of several academic essays, novels, short stories, and poems. I find writing as an excellent creative outlet to be able to express myself.
Still a devoted learner, I am going to attend graduate school part-time later this year, (Fall 2024), to achieve my Masters' in Public History to be able to further my career. I aim to go into historic preservation.
In college, I loved working as a tutor at the Nicholls State University Writing Tutoring Center. Now that I have graduated, I want to keep my tutoring skills sharpened and continue to assist students in finding the best learning methods individually and become independent learners.
