After graduating from high school, I obtained my BBA in Accounting from Baylor University. I worked in business settings and started my own tutoring business soon after that. I became a certified teacher for early ages through secondary grades while also tutoring early ages through adults. After obtaining my MA in psychology from HBU (now called HCU) in Houston, Texas, I started working as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology ("LSSP"). I have tenure and license as a school psychologist (MA) in Texas with a license also in Vermont with emphasis on ethics, compliance, collaboration, crisis intervention, counseling, and evaluation. I have more than 13 years of LSSP experiences. I was awarded Best School Psychologist in Texas for 2024 and 2025 by two leading companies and was asked to serve as expert witness on the side.

Having tutored students since university years, having operated my own tutoring business for over 20 years, and having aligned with a tutoring center to help people in early child years through adult years as well as conducting evaluations for the same, I provide this teaching philosophy:

Understanding the socio-emotional needs is an essential component. I utilize strength and awareness measures to encourage all students to thrive. Recognizing interests and unique skill sets as well as understanding universal needs are important components as well. Activity, multi-sensory approaches, art, music, movement, and multi-cultural training can help people make meaningful connections. Communication and interaction in a social environment remains essential to all.
