I am a graduate of The University of Texas at San Antonio in 2014. My major is in Education and I have my certification to teach EC-6th grade. Last year I obtained my ESL certification as well.

This is my 9th year in education and have taught 1st, 3rd, and 4th grades before. I currently teach 2nd grade and I am working with students who are GT (gifted and talented) this school year. My teaching background also consists working with students who have accommodations, 504 plans, and other special learning needs in the classroom/online platforms. I have tutored online students from Kinder to 8th grade. I am passionate about teaching students to their fullest potential. I utilize the gradual release of responsibility model in the classroom to teach. I also engage my class with Kahoot, Quizizz, and Blooket as interactive tools for student review and informal assessments. I can teach all the core subjects.
