I am a Math Science teacher in Alberta and a graduate of the University of Calgary having just graduated with a Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Natural Science with concentrations in Biology and Physics, graduating with a 3.85 GPA. I have also taken many Mathematics and Calculus courses. I have volunteered abroad in Madrid, Spain to teach students at an International School during the "Teaching Across Borders" program where I taught bilingual and English Language Learners various subjects and worked closely with the school's psychologist to implement wellness and social-emotional wellness workshops. I am extremely passionate about building up students' confidence in themselves and helping them regulate their emotions. I am very friendly, patient, and flexible. I am open to tutoring many subjects; I am most passionate about Science and Math at any level. While I am just starting with Varsity Tutors, I have plenty of experience tutoring and teaching students of all ages.
