I like to say let's tell better stories and tell stories better. I'm a New Jersey native who has a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in journalism and a concentration in creative writing from Montclair State University. I adopted Brooklyn as my home after college and now live in Florida. I've been a daily journalist for a decade, and I've also helped book authors by copyediting and proofreading their manuscripts. I'm passionate about storytelling, literature, grammar, and wordplay. When my son was younger, I read to his class every week for two years (complete with character voices), and some of those children, now teens, still say hi to me. Beyond that, I have helped moderate a monthly screenwriting group for ten years, giving our writers feedback on plot, structure, pacing, dialogue, characterization, and other details. I also review films, write critical essays about film, and provide constructive written critiques to individual screenwriters. I think words have power, and I enjoy helping others unleash theirs so that they can be heard and understood.
