I previously worked in public schools and started my journey in education as a special education aide for two years starting in 2014. I have taught Kindergarten, 2nd - 4th grades, and was a Reading Interventionist for two years. "I have wanted to work with children since I was fourteen and helped my mother in her Kindergarten classroom. My dedication and passion to my students inspired me to pursue a teaching career. I love when my students have 'a-ha' moments and can make 'real-world' connections to their learning."

I attended Stephen F. Austin State University and graduated in May 2011 with a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. I am EC-6 certified and also hold ESL and Dyslexia certifications.
