I am a graduate of the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering. Since then, I worked as an engineer at Toyota for 5 years, and then as a product manager for a self-driving robotics company. Following that, I led a product group at an artificial intelligence company, building a proprietary deep-learning technology into a revenue-generating product. Currently, I lead a group of product managers and software developers in building Canada's leading live sports internet streaming product at Rogers Sportsnet.

I'm actively involved in the non-profit community in Canada, sitting on the board of directors of a charity called Recess Guardians. The mission there is to build programs that can be embedded within schools to help empower students to be leaders and also to give them the tools to shut down bullying before it even has a chance to become prevalent.

Personally, I have 3 kids that my wife and I have decided to home-school. It's an incredible and enriching experience nourishing our children with life experience and a chance to learn in ways that connect how they see the world with how they absorb what they see. I believe that wisdom is built from experience and from having a strong leader to guide them through their educational journey.
