I am a graduate of Montana State University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a focus on science. Even before graduating, I had been a summer school teacher, a migrant tutor, and an after-school tutor. Given my background, I have found confidence, security, and empowerment in being a life-long learner. While most claim communication is key, I focus on the comprehension of the student. This allows my instruction to be customized to their readiness levels, interests, and goals in learning. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am very passionate about reading, writing, and anything science. In my experience, helping students requires enthusiasm, adaptability, and humor. I look forward to tutoring and learning from each student I interact with.
