I am a Licensed Master Social worker and former special education teacher. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Women/Gender Studies from Brandeis University, and I studied abroad in South America for a semester. I then went on to receive my Master of Social Work from the University of Central Florida, where I gained clinical experience as an intern at a domestic violence shelter. During my time in graduate school, I tutored SAT/ACT Prep and taught high school geometry and Algebra 2. While I tutor many topics, my passion lies with social work, math, and SAT Writing/Language. I am also a great tutor for beginners in Spanish. In my sessions, I encourage my students to feel confident and stress free in order to magnify their learning capabilities.
