I have been working in education for 9 years. I have my Masters in Education and BS in Economics. I have been a teacher at the intermediate level (grades 4-Algebra) for 9 years.

My educational strengths are improving math skills at any level, bridging learning gaps, test taking anxiety, time management, and standardized test taking strategies.

I believe that all students can learn at high levels. I want each student to know that when I work with them I care about them as a whole person, not just academically, but socially and emotionally. My goal is to strengthen student's metacognitive skills and growth mindset in each tutoring session while working through academic concepts.
