My name is Jamerly De La Cruz. I have a Bachelors in Anthropology from Skidmore College and am working on my masters at FAU. I am a second grade teacher in Florida and have been tutoring for over 5 years.

My teaching philosophy is that a positive environment creates a kind child. Why is kindness important? Well, it allows our ears to be our eyes and our eyes to be our ears. When we are kind we have an open mind and not only can we interpret the world differently but we can attract different energies in this world.

If you have a positive attitude and are engage which are kind gestures, you will have a blast learning and start to pick up on personal interests. I am all about supporting the whole student.

I am a strong writer and my interest is teaching people how to make writing easy, straightforward, and poignant. I love editing research papers, essays, and personal statements. To be a strong writer, you have to be a reader so my tutoring offers assistance in learning how to read, interpret literature, and go back to the text to support your thesis.
