My passion is helping students pass high-stakes standardized reading assessments. I also love teaching fundamental reading (alphabetic principle, phonics, phonemic awareness, fluency, vocabulary),English literature, writing, communication, and public speaking. I am a graduate of multiple colleges including the University of West Florida and Barry University. I received my Master of Arts in Communication with an emphasis in rhetoric of the South, have a Masters in Library and Information Science and Specialist degree in Reading Education.I have been teaching public school and college for over 17 years and have professional state teaching certifications in Reading, Elementary Education, English 6-12, ESOL and Exceptional Student Education. I am also Gifted Endorsed.I have been an academic coach for over 15 years
