I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with Bachelor's degrees in Environmental Studies and Psychology. Throughout college, I enjoyed having professors who were willing to accept feedback, learn from students, and adapt accordingly. This is something I try to incorporate into my own teaching practices. I believe that all students are unique, and one single method of teaching will not be effective for all students. My teaching approach centers around understanding where students are in their learning process and using the tools and practices at my disposal to cater to their specific learning needs. I am always happy to adapt my approach!

I have two years' worth of experience tutoring high school students in both one-on-one and group settings, as well as experience working with my peers in college in a host of different courses to better understand material. I tutor a wide range of subjects because I have always found a lot of joy in learning, but I am most passionate when it comes to math, science, and writing. I have experience working with students of different backgrounds and learning needs, including many with ADHD, anxiety, etc., and understand the extra difficulties that these can bring when trying to learn in a traditional classroom setting and always do my best to work with students in finding ways that make the learning process engaging and enjoyable.
