Guten Tag! I am a retired German teacher with 33 years of experience from a high school in Western Pennsylvania. During my time, I have seen what is important to learn at the basic levels to ensure success at the upper levels. I can teach all the skills of the German language as per the ACTFL proficiency guidelines, encompassing speaking, listening, reading, writing skill with cultural knowledge. I am married with four grown children- I am going to be an Oma in August 2025! I have three dogs, love gardening, am a local youth minister for my church and travel is my particular hobby. I have taken eight student groups to Germany, Austria and Switzerland over the years and am taking my first adult tour with 27 participants this summer!
