About Me

I am driven by a deep passion for helping students navigate the intricate world of academics. The joy I find in explaining concepts and the opportunity to solidify my own understanding make tutoring an incredibly rewarding experience. I strive to be the tutor I wish I had during my own educational journey, providing guidance and support to students in a way that goes beyond simply answering questions. My experience working with students in the math center at my university was truly fulfilling. I prioritized ensuring that students grasped the underlying concepts rather than just providing quick solutions. By asking thought-provoking questions, I aimed to gauge their understanding and tailor my explanations accordingly. It was incredibly rewarding to witness their growth and witness the "Aha!" moments when they truly understood a concept. I am currently pursuing my studies at Christian Brothers University in Memphis, TN. I am working towards a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (Dual Degree), with minors in Mathematics and Unmanned Aerial Systems (Drones). These disciplines fuel my enthusiasm, and I enjoy sharing my knowledge and insights with others. As a tutor, I cover a wide range of subjects, including college-level math courses up to Calculus 3, Physics 2, various computer science courses, and introductory electrical engineering topics. However, my favorite subjects to tutor are those directly related to my field. I am particularly intrigued by these subjects and find great joy in diving deep into their intricacies to help students grasp their complexities. My teaching philosophy centers around ensuring that students develop a solid understanding of the subject matter at its core. I firmly believe in going beyond rote memorization, as this approach often leads to a lack of retention. Instead, I strive to create engaging sessions where students actively participate in the learning process. By fostering an environment of inquiry and critical thinking, I encourage students to apply their knowledge effectively. Beyond academia, I have a range of interests that keep me engaged and well-rounded. I am passionate about travel, as it allows me to explore new cultures and broaden my perspectives. Tennis and regular gym workouts help me maintain a healthy work-life balance. Additionally, I invest my time in my YouTube channel, where I share insights on technology and engineering. Working on side projects, such as a game I am developing and building robots, further fuel my curiosity and drive for innovation.
