I am currently a student of the medical sciences program at The Western University of Ontario. Since middle school, I have tutored several of my peers regularly across all topics, with the most common one being math. In grade 11 and 12 (junior and senior years) , I took the full IB program and obtained my IB diploma upon my graduation, once again helping my peers along the way. Everyone I tutor learns at a different pace and begins with different gaps in their knowledge. I make it my mission to understand where they tend to make the wrong turn and teach them the right one. In general, I've always found tutoring to be very rewarding, as my peers would say they used my tips and were successful on their exam because of them. I use the analogy that I am the training wheels on a bicycle and the student is a new rider. I am there if they need me, but ideally, one day, they will no longer need my help. In achieving this goal, I like to challenge my students, so that they can handle any problem on their academic exams. On my own time, I enjoy reading, writing poetry, practicing martial arts and going to the gym.
