Cody discovered his passion for chemistry in high school while earning top scores in honors-level chemistry. In 2020, Cody graduated from the University of California, Davis with a Ph.D, and after spending 2 years in Canada as a postdoctoral associate at the University of Calgary, he moved to Long Island to work as a research associate in the chemistry division at Brookhaven National Laboratory. He has coauthored 15 articles in top American Chemical Society and Royal Society of Chemistry journals. Cody has over 450 hours of tutoring experience (tutored over 100 students), and has helped teach University courses in general and organic chemistry (30 classes and 677 students over 4 years).
