My passion for cybersecurity and ethical hacking is what brought me here. Breaking into the cybersecurity field can be overwhelming. People often see it as a specialized field, but it is actually quite broad. You could spend a lifetime studying cybersecurity and still not know everything. I want to help you break through any barriers and make tough topics less intimidating for you. I have about two years of experience mentoring and teaching people from all ages and backgrounds about technology. Throughout my own journey, I have obtained my Associate's Degree in Systems Administration/Networking and I am currently working on my Bachelor's in Cyber Security at the SANS Technology Institute. I got my start in IT as a computer repair technician and became a volunteer range leader at the Cyber Warfare Range in Arizona for a year, which is where I was introduced to ethical hacking. From there, I worked as an analyst, where I performed log analysis. I regularly participate in CTF competitions throughout the year, both individually and in teams. I have my eLearnSecurity Junior Penetration Tester certification and several GIAC certifications, but I am pursuing more. I hope that each and everyone of you will leave our meetings feeling encouraged and supported.
Specialties: Ethical hacking, incident response, log analysis
