I am currently working towards a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resource Conservation degree at the University of British Columbia. I have 3+ years of tutoring experience as a reading coach and site assistant at Team Read. I tutor many subjects including science, reading, and writing, though I most enjoy ecology and environmental science as developing an understanding of the world around you is key to becoming a more successful learner. I am especially passionate about teaching students studying habits and organizational skills that will reduce stress around standardized exams. I believe that the best way to teach is by connecting my student's interests to the study topic so that they become invested in learning more about it. Discovering ways to love learning is the most important part of the education process.
