I am a graduate with a BA in Humanities majoring in English, French and History. As part of my degree I also spent a year studying French at Lyon University. I was awarded a teaching certificate in 1992 and a qualification for Headship in 2017. I have been teaching for 32 years, in primary schools in the UK, and have always been assessed as a good/outstanding teacher. During this time I have prepared children for numerous national tests including SATS and phonics screening. I particularly enjoy English based subjects but have taught all 10 subjects related to the primary curriculum. I like to think I'm an engaging teacher with a sense of humour which I bring to my presentation and teaching style. I believe teaching needs to be interactive and that all individuals can achieve their potential when their needs and abilities are taken into account.
