I am a lifelong learner and established professional in several fields that personally understands the challenges of traditional and non-traditional students and career starters and love helping people overcome them! I strive to contribute legal, technical, communication, teaching, and project management experience, results-centered advocacy, lifelong passion for technology, servant leadership, and current cybersecurity knowledge and experience to impactful roles in technology, policy, education, training and the law.
I have nearly 20 years experienced as a licensed attorney and law firm partner in New York State at all levels of state and federal courts with a focus on labor & employment, civil rights, litigation and non-traditional dispute resolution including arbitration and meditation. I am also as a former Navy photojournalist, documentary photographer, web developer and cybersecurity professional, and teacher & cybersecurity curriculum developer. My current areas of interest in the law include cybersecurity and privacy, litigation and arbitration, labor & employment, and civil rights, and in technology include all aspects of technical, applied cybersecurity.
