About me: After recently finishing my Psychology degree at the University of Exeter, I moved to Canada where I was au pairing; looking after two wonderful kids and assisting with teaching them valuable life and academic lessons. Since moving back to the UK, I have begun work in primary schools as a teaching assistant and love it. I have a keen interest in developmental Psychology and believe that learning is incredibly valuable; it aids a child's understanding, curiosity and excitement about how the world works. My motivation for tutoring is to help individuals learn in a way that works best for them, I will do my best to ensure my tutees feel happy and confident with the subject.

My experience: I have achieved a Bronze level Student Leadership Accreditation for completing 15 weeks of KS3 maths tutoring with CoachBright. I have also been a tutor for MyTutor for almost a year now. This tutoring experience has taught me invaluable skills for encouraging a growth mindset, ensuring my tutees are engaged and being familiar with online whiteboards and structuring sessions. I like getting creative so you can count on the resources I make being visually appealing. My work as a TA has also enhanced all these skills, and often I work 1 to 1 with individuals that need extra help.

My tutoring: I am offering tutoring in KS1 and 2 maths, GCSE Biology, and GCSE and A level Psychology. To install confidence, I have completed up to AS level Maths and A level Biology (achieved both A grades) and a BSC Psychology degree. I love learning about how the human body works and the challenge of problem solving that maths provides. I would love to share my knowledge and excitement for these subjects!
