I am a TEFL-qualified early years teacher with a degree in English Literature from Royal Holloway, University of London. I have three years of experience teaching children aged two to five in an early years setting and over eight years of experience tutoring both adults and children of all ages in subjects ranging from English Literature, GCSE English, A-Level English, Verbal/Non-Verbal Reasoning, Creative Writing, Mathematics, Arabic, and more. I find it incredibly rewarding to help my students achieve the grades they desire, but, more importantly, I love to help them rediscover their joy and passion for learning. My tutoring style is fun and nurturing: I aim to create a safe environment for my students where we build their confidence and demystify even the toughest of topics, always working at their pace. My speciality subject is English Literature and Language: I specialised in English Literature and Creative Writing at university and I love working with students on these topics! I love tutoring students studying for their English Literature/Language GCSEs or A-Levels, or even university students looking for that little bit of extra support. No matter the novel, poem, or play, I can help you demystify anything from Shakespeare to Kafka to Beowulf! Interests/Hobbies: I volunteer at the library, reading to young children, and also love to travel and explore new places. I am also an avid reader: I always have at least five books on the go!
