My interests are varied but I love to be creative. I enjoy amigurumi crochet, fine art embroidery and visible mending to relax. I like travelling and seeing ancient archaeological sites. Photography has been a long-term hobby of mine, so I have many images of my travels. One of my favourite things when travelling through France are the very creative traffic roundabouts. They always put a smile on my face! Big Tour de France fan - I've managed to see many stages of the famous cycle race over the years. I'm learning Welsh as I moved to a Welsh-speaking area five years ago. I'm originally from Yorkshire in the North of England, so am finding the pronunciation very difficult. Currently trying to tame an old apple orchard, whilst keeping it a haven for wildlife and birds.
