As the salutatorian of the highest-ranked grammar school in the country and a nominee for the School of Social Sciences Undergraduate of the Year Award, I developed study techniques that I am eager to share with my students.

I hold a law degree, which taught me essay writing skills and methods for successful completion of legal and logical reasoning standardised tests.

I have tutored many students and career seekers with their application essays, which resulted in them getting admitted to Ivy League and Russell Group universities and getting jobs in banking, consulting, and law.

I have extensive experience with tutoring French from beginners to the university level. I aced the highest French language course at university and worked as a teacher of beginners - intermediate French to postgraduate students at the Manchester International Institute.

I specialise in tutoring children and young adults with French immersion school, passing the DELF and AP French exams, and practising conversational French skills through structured lessons. I do not have an American French accent, and I focus on teaching my students traditional French pronunciation. I offer homework and pronunciation guides. When teaching Conversational French, I tailor the vocabulary to your interests and experiences, so that you learn how to best express YOURSELF.

I teach contextual French, meaning that all of the vocabulary and grammar covered in my curriculum are accompanied by excerpts from literature, media sources, and examples of conversations, images, and worksheets.

I completed courses on teaching online and teaching children online, and I am keen on creating a relaxed but productive learning environment. I think it is important to use trial and error to learn from our mistakes, and it is crucial to take learning seriously whilst leaving room for some sense of humour!
