Having a post-graduate qualification in History from the University of Oxford, a 1st Class Masters degree in Nuclear Science and a 1st Class Bachelors degree in Geology from the University of Manchester, I believe I have the experience to help you achieve your academic goals.

I've jumped from subject to subject throughout my studies and I understand what it can be like to feel overwhelmed by a new topic. I believe in consistent dialogue and a measured approach to tutoring. This involves us talking about aspects of a subject that you are truly struggling with. Only then can we develop a plan to move forward.

As a professional Nuclear Engineer I regularly use natural sciences such as physics, chemistry and geology to tackle problems. However, I am also a passionate scholar of European History and have recently deferred a Masters degree at the University of Oxford in Historical Studies for a later date. My focus to tackling your academic problems will be interdisciplinary and I will draw upon all of my professional and academic experience to do this. Believe it or not I want my students to speak out about their worries, develop an opinion on a topic and be able to debate it - I believe that is where the fun is!

Outside of my academic and professional life I am a keen football player and I love a good audiobook on during long countryside drives.
