Hello, I'm Manuel, originally from Barcelona, Spain. Over 20 years ago, I made the exciting decision to move to London, where I currently reside. Driven by my passion for languages, I embarked on a language-learning journey in 2017 and spent several months in Shanghai, enhancing my proficiency in Chinese.

Teaching Experience:

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of teaching and living in various countries, including Ecuador, Panama, the United Kingdom, Spain, and China. While I have had diverse teaching experiences, my focus has predominantly been on teaching English and Spanish since 2016. Additionally, I have worked as a translator, which has further honed my language skills.

As an educator, I am known for my dynamic, flexible, and experienced teaching style. Having learned English and Chinese myself, I can relate to the challenges and goals of language learners. I've walked in your shoes and overcome similar obstacles. Allow me to guide you on your journey to improve your English or Spanish.

Though my educational background lies in Computer Science, I have devoted more than two decades to teaching. I possess TEFL certification and have actively participated in numerous teaching technique seminars to enhance my skills.

My Lessons & Teaching Style:

I believe in tailoring my teaching approach to meet the unique needs of each student. Some may prioritize clarity in speaking, while others seek to refine their grammar or listening skills. Recognizing these individual requirements, I am dedicated to adapting my methods accordingly. When teaching children, I frequently employ flashcards, while adults benefit from PowerPoint presentations or visual aids accompanied by grammar points and exercises.
