I recently graduated from Valdosta State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. As a first generation citizen, I was raised to learn and grasp new concepts quickly. Because I did not have access to tutors during primary school, tutoring others brings me fulfillment. Most of my teaching and tutoring experience involved students who experienced language barriers and a lack of mentorship.
As a tutor, I hope to share my love of science, math, and Spanish with others. My goal with all my students is to increase their self confidence in the subject and as a student to inspire them into pursuing a secondary education.
** Regarding conversational Spanish, please note that I am Mexican American, so I can definitely help with slang from Mexico. Should you need help with formal Spanish, I am very familiar with it as well.
