I am a graduate of California State University, Sacramento where I received a BA degree in Mathematics. Throughout my college career I enjoyed learning about the concepts of math, and I spent many hours tutoring classmates and friends. After I finished college, I completed the process to become a certificated teacher in California. Since then I have spent twenty-three years as a special education, math teacher at the high school level. As a teacher I loved helping students develop an understanding of mathematical concepts, and I have found it very rewarding to help students successfully complete work that had previously confused them.
