Honestly, there is nothing more satisfying than helping students not only see, but also reach their potential. I know that I am where I'm supposed be when I see that notorious "lightbulb moment," or when students achieve what they never thought they could.
I've always loved math, and so it was the perfect fit to obtain my BA in Mathematics at Lakehead University. Now, I can help others improve their self-concept when it comes to their mathematical abilities since I believe students are capable with the right support and dedication.
I have worked in private education in Ontario since 2011 and have helped students ranging from pre-K to adults with their reading, writing and math upgrading. I've worked with students diagnosed with ADD, ADHD, ODD, and OCD; as well as those on the autism spectrum and those with general learning difficulties. With this experience I have developed an array of teaching methods and applications to suit the individual needs of my students. Your goals are my goals!
