About Me

Tutoring has always been a passion of mine, I started in college just helping my friends through math and science classes, and when I was struggling trying to figure out what I wanted to do it helped me realize that I wanted to teach! I have been a teacher for the last 7 years, and am currently taking a break due moving, but I miss it every day. Throughout my last 5 years of teaching, I also tutored and realized that I love getting the opportunity to work with students 1:1 and help them understand something they may be struggling with. I have a Bachelor's of Science Degree from Alma College, in Alma, MI with a major in Chemistry and a minor in Mathematics as well as a Master's of Education Degree in Earth Science. I can tutor math for any grades (6-12) as well as general science for the younger grades, and Chemistry, Earth Science and Biology for high school. I also can tutor for ACT/SAT test prep for the Math or Science sections. My favorite subjects to tutor would have to be the ACT Math and Science exam prep or any math! I also really do love the science stuff too! I throughly believe that every student deserves the chance to understand everything they are being taught and I work hard to help every single student. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my friends, family and pets as well as reading and painting!
