I am excited to be a part of a platform that gives students the opportunity to enhance their learning. I have worked in Hospital settings for the last 7 years. I received my CNA license in 2016 from Emerald nursing school in El Paso Texas and I am currently finishing requirements for the Texas Tech nursing program. I have had the honor to be preceptor for Nursing students during their first semester clinical rotations. Having the chance to share my experiences and knowledge with our future nurses is a great sense of accomplishment to me.

Thankfully every group of students that have shadowed me are able to say that they gained and sharpened their basic nursing skills. One must always lead with compassion when it comes to this career path and all of my students have always left with that #1 skill in mind. They then are able to apply it with their patient encounters.
