I am getting my Honours Bachelor of Science at the University of Toronto, doing a biochemistry specialist, statistics major, and math minor. On top of these subjects, I'm also very comfortable tutoring physics. I've self-studied the MCAT in grade 12, have a 4.0 gpa, and am taking math specialist courses despite being a math minor. As an aspiring MD/PhD, I am very interested in medicine, research, and teaching. In second-year I worked as a research student at SickKids, a children's hospital, where I did many tasks like determine the utility of pharmacogenetic testing in patients from the Cardiac Genome Clinic, and update the pharmacogenetic testing panel for hospitals across North America. My work led to a prestigious publication that's currently being peer-reviewed.
