I am a graduate and continuing student of Lancaster Bible College. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies with a minor in Human Services. I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am passionate about the skillful use of the English language to fully and accurately communicate. My experience includes teaching a college-level English course for three years and a college-level Literature course for seven years. Teaching initiated a passion in me to assist students in grasping the concepts and structure of the English language, the practical and efficient use of it in academic writing, and the enjoyment of clearly communicating information and ideas. My experience also includes editing materials in a higher education setting including bios, articles, short stories, web material, brochures, etc. Editing stirred in me a desire to see the written word accurately and clearly presented for the success of the writer, and the enjoyment of the reader. I am a firm advocate of establishing a complete and clear understanding of the English language and its use, dispelling the negative connotations around writing, and initiating a love for communication. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, walking, hosting, sewing, and baking.
