I earned a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering with minors in mathematics and physics from the Georgia Institute of Technology and I am currently pursuing a master's degree in the same discipline. The caring instructors that helped me when I was younger sparked within me an immense passion for learning and I desire to ignite the same spark within the students I teach. My teaching philosophy is that with time, effort, and the right instruction a student can come to understand any concept they struggle with and maybe eventually come to enjoy it. I have been tutoring for over 3 years now specializing in tutoring math subjects such as elementary school math, pre-algebra, geometry, algebras I and II, pre-calculus, and calculus I. As an aerospace engineer, it is absolutely essential to have a deep understanding of differential equations and college algebra. Because of this, I am completely capable of teaching both subjects. Throughout all of high school, I would host tutoring sessions for SAT math - the pre-requisite knowledge for understanding the questions and how to solve them. For as long, as I can remember I have had an incredible passion for math and I would try to read as much as I can on the subject. For my hobbies, I love playing video games and reading manga (Japanese comics).
