There is no success in life that does not involve some amount of education. And, it has always been my joy and pleasure to help my students surpass their educational goals to become a success at whatever they love.
I received my Bachelors of Science in Science Education from Northeaster State University. My education has afforded me many various opportunities and I chose to experience several of them. I've taught Middle School, High School and young adults at the local Junior College. I've taught adults in corporations and I've done online teaching as well. And, in those settings I've taught biology, chemistry, algebra, computer applications and computer programming.
I've enjoyed every subject I've taught, because many of the sciences are so closely interconnected. Math and Algebra are the alphabet and the words of the sciences. Physics is where the alphabet and words are put together to form sentences describing the universe. In chemistry, physics forms the foundation of the natural world and chemical interactions. In Biology, the chemistry comes together to provide the structures of cells and tissues, and the energy driving living systems. And, in Computer Science that's where the human mind plays and forms endless realities in virtual worlds.
My students have enjoyed the subjects, too. They liked the fact that I could take complex ideas and break them into small pieces to be reassembled into the big picture. My students said it made memorization simpler and it helped them connect the ideas throughout the course.
When I'm not teaching, I can be found exploring the countryside looking for the best camera shots or sitting behind my computer writing the next chapter in my next science fiction novel. But that's when I'm alone. When I'm with friends I love a good meal and a good show.
I look forward to getting to know my future students as we take the next academic adventure.

I have a variety of interests that enrich my life: • I have a 5-string banjo that I assembled myself, and I play occasionally. • I take advantage of the digital cameras and am always on the lookout for the best picture. • I have self-published 2 science fiction novels and I am working on the third. • I am a huge Marvel fan, and take in all of the movies as the come out. And, those are the things I do when I’m not spending time with my wife and our cats.
