I am an experienced college professor with a Ph.D. in Psychology from New Mexico State University. I have taught at the University of Arkansas, the University of North Florida, and Xavier University School of Medicine in Aruba. I am also pursuing an MFA in Studio Art (specializing in Performance Art). I have children who are 12, 14, and 15 years old and have been their personal tutor all their lives. I love teaching people of all ages in a variety of subjects. My main areas of training have been in Psychology, Mathematics, Statistics, Writing, and Research Design. I have studied many other subjects, including Sociology, Philosophy, Medical Humanities, and Art. I think of teaching and learning as a shared experience. I can become interested in just about anything. I believe that everyone has the ability to learn and I have the patience to help any student, no matter their prior experiences with tutors/teachers. I have lots of interests and hobbies apart from academic ones.
