I graduated from San Diego State University. I taught environmental education in several non-traditional environments before moving to a brick and mortar school. I have taught for 13 years now, mostly in middle school, but with several years at a high school level also. During that time I have covered Earth/Space Science, Life Science, and Physical Science. Since I have three children of my own, my teaching style tends to reflect how I teach them. I want my students to be curious about everything and be aware of all the world and science around them.
Undergraduate Degree: San Diego State University - Bachelor of Science, Parks, Recreation, and Leisure Studies
As a Science teacher, I think my interests and hobbies align with trying or exploring new things. Therefore, I'm a big fan of hiking, gardening, cooking, and going to zoos, aquariums, and science centers.
