A kind hearted, friendly, professional and highly trained elementary school teacher. I am extremely passionate about teaching, I find the position personally satisfying and beneficial to the students I work with. I am a great communicator and listener, and have the ability to understand a student's needs. I love creating lesson plans, organizing work flow and interacting with the students. Education is a passion of mine and creating a safe, friendly and productive environment for my students to learn is a top priority. I've worked as a teacher for several years across a range of subjects.

Throughout my twenty-year teaching career I have gained extensive skills in training alongside working directly with children within the early years. Through these roles, I have seen the impact that my experience within teaching has had on my ability to assess and report on a range of issues. I have also undertaken regular academic study and professional training to ensure that I can offer feedback, allowing me to provide successful mentoring as well as assessment.

Translating teaching experience into academic qualification, through studying for an English Education degree, offered an opportunity to develop analytical skills. Essay writing and project work all contributed to the experience of gathering evidence, whether consulting previous studies or conducting my own. Receiving consistent recognition for my outstanding performance demonstrates that I have achieved a level of excellence in this area.

Having worked across a range of educational institutions, I have gained experience of and adapted to the relevant frameworks for each, both in the classroom.
