As a nurse, teaching starts in the trenches of nursing school with endless group study sessions, coffee dates and sleepless nights. I graduated in May of 2017 with my Bachelors of Science in Nursing and have been in practice ever since. My field of practice has ranged from the emergency department to psychiatric mental health nursing. I recently graduated with my Masters of Science in nursing and obtained my Adult/Geriatric Nurse practitioner license. Throughout this journey, I've had the pleasure of being a preceptor to those who are now successful nurses. I would love to share my notes, previous study guides and knowledge to those just trying to survive in the nursing and health care field.
I enjoy teaching and helping out my fellow leaders in their health careers because I know how demanding this journey may be. I strive to take time to make concepts that are very complex-- a little easier to understand and grasp to put into real-life practice and test application.
In other words, let's not make this harder than it needs to be.. shall we?
