I have been an educator for over twenty years. I have worked with scholars ranging from Pre-K through Adult Ed. I have earned degrees in: Psychology, Business Administration, Elementary Education, Reading Specialist, Educational Leadership and Transformational Leadership. My educational philosophy is very simple. I believe all scholars want to learn; however, they need more character-building skills to promote self-confidence that will lead to improved academic success. Because of this, I am passionate about helping scholars become confident, proficient in reading and successful in all other areas of the education. My passion is fueled by knowing scholars want to be successful, but they are afraid to ask for help. I will provide each scholar with custom crafted lessons to ensure that they are equipped to conquer their instructional fears successfully. I offer tutoring in the following areas: reading comprehension skills, test taking skills, organizational skills, writing, and social studies. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, cooking, baking, traveling, and exercising for my mental and physical health.
