I received my Bachelor's degree in Music Education and my Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration. I taught music for 12 years and served students as an administrator for 2 years. I transitioned to a career in technology through LaunchCode's Women+ program. I learned JavaScript, Angular, HTML, CSS, C#, ASP.NET, and MySQL. I'm currently working toward becoming a certified Scrum Master.

I love sci-fi and historical fiction. I reread books I love dozens of times and have watched my favorite movies and TV series more times than I can count. I'm a magician in the kitchen and my kids love bragging that their mom is the best cook. My favorite form of exercise is family dance parties. I play piano (not as well as I should) and love to sing.
