I am a freshman studying computer science at the University of Michigan. Since the beginning of high school, I have been a voluntary one-on-one math tutor for students at local middle schools who needed extra guidance. I have helped them become interested in the material, succeed in their classes, and pass their standardized exams. I can be of help for a variety of subjects, but I am most eager to help students in math, specifically middle school math, algebra, geometry, calculus, SAT Math Prep, and computer science. I love these subjects in particular, because they are very applicable in my field of study and I have found a genuine interest in those subjects and their applications. I found through my tutoring experience, that different tutoring approaches work best for different students. I will always cater my teaching methods to my students. I am a strong believer that quality education is vital for our lives and the future. I also love helping students realize their true potential and filling in their gaps in knowledge to ensure they can succeed. In my free time, I love to play basketball, work out, and play my guitar.
Undergraduate Degree: University of Michigan-Ann Arbor - Bachelor of Science, Computer Science
My academic interest lies in Computer Science. After taking extensive classes, developing projects, and interning at Tech companies, I have realized this as my true passion. I am continuing to explore this interest at the University of Michigan. Apart from academics, I love to play basketball with friends and the guitar. These hobbies help me take my mind off academics and works wonders for my stress.
