I am a senior at The George Washington University earning a B.A. in Latin American and Hemispheric Studies. I also have a minor in music, as I grew up playing five instruments and singing. Throughout my time as an undergraduate in Washington DC, I have interned with multiple DC organizations focused on youth empowerment, women's health, and entrepreneurship. Tutoring a variety of subjects, I am most passionate about Spanish, History, and Writing. I find tutoring to play an important role in helping students reach their educational goals from a different perspective, outside of the traditional classroom. As a elementary and high school student, I appreciated having tutors outside of the classroom who invested their time in me to show me how knowledge from inside of the classroom translates to matters in the world. This is something I wish to cultivate with the students I tutor, to show them the power that knowledge has in the world.
