I am a graduate of Abilene Christian University where I obtained a Bachelor's degree in History. I also have a Master's degree from the University of Southern New Hampshire in English and Creative Writing. While an undergraduate I volunteered my time tutoring my community's adult and child immigrant population. I was also involved in the peer tutoring program at my University in which students who spoke English as a second language could obtain homework assistance and paper editing advice. I love to write and research and am especially interested in English, Social Studies, and Study Skills. Learning to read, write, and research with a strong focus on critical thinking skills is important to all academic endeavors. I am passionate about these things because I believe all students can use their education to learn successfully about what interests them. My many hobbies include, doing puzzles and playing video games with my children, exercising with my husband, cuddling my dog, and reading and writing science fiction.
